Worth knowing

  • Sulfur cinquefoil probably came from the Mediterranean Basin. Introduced to North America, it was first collected in Ontario in the 19th century and in British Columbia in 1914, and now ranges across almost the whole continent. In some places it is a minor noxious weed. Wikipedia: Potentilla recta
