Worth knowing

This source reports two treatments. Both are shown.

Protocol 1

DerivedN. C. Deno, 1993

Difficulty Low Rated by us, not by the source.

Start around March 8, 2027 for a May 3 last frost.

  1. Sow and cover

    Temperature: 70°F 21°C Light: light

No stated waiting before sowing. Then 28 days to germinate.

75% germination in 28 days.

Rhododendron (Ericaceae). Usually light was required for germination. A. anthopogon germ. 70L(6/8 in 4th w) and 70D(2/11 in 3rd w). The 700 sample was shifted to 70L after 4 w, but no further germination occurred. A prior 3 m at 40 was fatal. The samples were so small that the experiments need, repeating.

Protocol 2

DerivedN. C. Deno, 1993
